To start, I feel very comfortable here with everything covid going on. Second, Gloria has been amazing with my prenatal massages. Highly recommend! Love this spa! The reason is that unlike other spas I have been to, this service not only incorporates a little bit of everything including micro-dermabrasion which most spas only feature as a stand-alone treatment that must be booked as part of a series but it is also truly tailored to the skin concerns of the client.
Case in point — my friend and I each booked this facial and because her concern is anti-aging, her facial included micro-current therapy while mine included LED lighting to conquer texture issues. End result? We both walked out glowing with noticeably improved skin. That also yielded a noticeable result bye-bye, puffiness AND — unexpected bonus- the next day my sinuses drained and as a chronic allergy sufferer I could breathe more freely than I had in months.

Not only was the entire staff friendly and welcoming, but the atmosphere was very relaxing and pleasant. My hair dresser, Ingrid, did a fantastic job on my hair. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable about all hair types, but she is also professional, kind, and gentle.

Upon giving her a tip after paying at the register I always tip out of curtosey, no matter the outcome, because I appreciate the service she slipped me her personal business card because she informed me that she was quitting due to the fact that Ethereal "sucked". I thought that was rude and very unprofessional - I will never go back again. I am visiting New Jersey for work and badly needed a haircut.
They were able to get me in with Elena. She did a wonderful job and really took her time with me. I couldn't be more pleased! Keep up the good work! I have read some reviews of clients stating that it is not so great. Everybody has their own opinion on a place, every work place has their good and bad days. Ethereal is a warm and welcoming salon, the employees their are both friendly and seem excited to be there. The services are excellent and Paula the owner is very friendly!
I don,t agree with people bad mouthing any salon, like i previously stated every salon has their good and bad days, Just because your one experience where you probably tried to weasel your way into a free service didn't work out, doesn't mean you can ruin that salons reputation. Ethereal is a beautiful salon and the girls their try very very very hard to keep their reputation at a good rate. Their main goal is to make all clients happy! So if you are writing a review don't be that person to turn other people off, Let them judge the place for themselves.
I think when people write bad reviews on here, they probably had a bad day and it was one way to let their frustration out. The owner Paula goes to odds and ends to make all her clients happy along with keeping the salon beautiful. I have never been to a more professional place in my life, Its not some whole in the wall salon where the owner stops in every so often, Paula is always their working on her own clients that she's had for over twenty years.
